Autistically Scott

What an amazing few days in Ireland this week at the Minding Autistic Minds conference (run by AUsome Training) sharing space with wonderful people. It was full of extraordinary practice (and life) changing presentations and workshops. Everyone who supports Autistic people needs to attend events like this. It was so validating to experience on a professional and personal level.

It was also pretty cool to meet Autistic professionals who’s work I admire, such as Jodie Clarke and Kieran Rose, both of whom bought myself and Laura Hellfeld’s ‘Creating Safe Spaces’ book, asking me to sign their copy!

I feel very honoured to have joined the AUsome team recently and that I was able to attend the conference. It was delightful to meet Evaleen & other members of the AUsome team in person for the first time. It was so difficult to leave the conference. There is truly nothing like spaces created by Autistics.
